Davao City 2 hour Power Interruption

Davao Light Power Co. (DLPC) is now implementing their rotational brownout for a maximum of 2 hours.

For reason, that the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines had express the lack of power supply situation in the whole Mindanao.

(C) USING BORROWED LANGUAGE

The power interruptions is necessary to avoid breakdown of the entire distribution of electricity throughout Mindanao.

Davao Light advises customers to expect more power interruption during off-peak hours, which is from 12:00 m.n to 8:00 a.m and from 8:00 p.m to 12:00 m.n.

Given the schedule above, the duration of the rotating brownout may increase or decrease depending on the level of the action imposed by the NGCP at any given time of the day and the variability of the load DLPC have.

For now, DLPC would like to apologize to all Dabawenyos for the inconvenience these power interruptions have caused, but it will exert all efforts to restore electric service to its regular normal schedule.
