Topping Off Ceremony of NCCC Mall Buhangin

Full Implementation of Anti-Jaywalking Ordinance in Davao

Starting September 11, 2017, Monday, Davao City will start issuing citation tickets to all violators.




Davao Anti-Jaywalking Ordinance was implemented on December 1, 2016, back then violators were not given penalties but there were invited to attend seminars regarding the said ordinance.

For this year, the City Government of Davao will continue to implement the ordinance wherein violators will be given citation tickets and pay a fine of P100 at the Treasurer's Office for the first offense plus additional community service for four hours to be facilitated by the Davao City Social Services and Development Office (DCSSDO).

This full implementation is to intensify the traffic rules and regulations Davao City Ordinance 778 also known as Comprehensive Transport and Traffic Code.

To all Dabawenyos, please follow the instructions, warnings, and prohibited regulations as provided by the Davao City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) religiously.

St. Luke's Medical Center brings world-class healthcare to Davao City SOON

Cebu Pacific launch Davao to Dumaguete and Tacloban Routes

Davao City - Cebu Pacific launched two new domestic routes last July 27 at Marco Polo, counting the demand both from domestic passengers and business travelers.

The renowned budget carrier added the flights: Davao-Dumaguete and Davao-Tacloban to address the requests and suggestions coming from both local and tourists travelers especially those in the business sectors.


During the inauguration, Ma. Rosarion Lagamon, Cebu Pacific Head for Corporate Communication, said that the two routes will ease the burden of their passengers because they will be having a direct flight to Dumaguete and Tacloban plus the added local flights like Zamboanga-Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga-Cotobato, and Cebu-Masbate.


Present during the launching is Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio "Ipe" B. Remollo, and City Councilor (Acting Mayor of Davao City) Danilo Dayanghirang.


A great link both from Davao to Dumaguete and Tacloban to boost tourism and easier access to the cities.


Davao-Dumaguete flights will be 3x weekly and 4x a week for Davao-Tacloban.

Hijo Industrial Estates Soon to Rise at Davao del Norte #GatewayToGrowth

The groundbreaking ceremony happened last Friday, June 16, 2017 at Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

The plan is to build and develop an area that will serve as the gateway for agricultural exports in Southern Mindanao. The 760-hectare township, designed to provide economic development, following the ASEAN Economic Community's Blueprint. A combine world-class hub that will accommodate light to medium export-oriented industries, residential, commercial, and institutional  establishments at the heart of Davao. And also with the help of PEZA and be a registered industrial estate, this can serve the expansion needs of industries with an international port as a major amenity.

THE PORT



The Hjo International Ports Services (HIPS) is a joint business venture between Hijo Resources Corp. and International Container Terminal Services, Inc.


It has a deep-sea port with a draft of 13 meters, designed to handle containerized and break bulk cargoes. An accredited PEZA zone, the port is 54 hectares large and strategically located to connect Mindanao to major Asian markets.

It has an initial terminal capacity of 450,000 TEU and ability to expand to 650,000, set to be the largest container-handling fleet in Mindanao and soon to be called the 1st Freeport Zone in Mindanao.

As this moment, Steel Asia is their first client in the port.


THE TOWN CENTER

The next biggest hub for business, commercial and retail activities. This include a satellite government center which will provide  the community easier and convenient access to government offices and services. Educational facilities and religious places of worship are within reach by the community.

THE LEISURE AND TOURISM ESTATES

320-hectare portion of the township is allocated to leisure and tourism development. It includes the 60-hectare forest, natural habitat for wild local floral and fauna, surrounded with the Philippine hardwood trees. It has a 4 km long fine sand shoreline, mangroves and system of creeks and streams.

THE RESIDENTIAL ESTATES
