THE BIG DAVAO FUN SALE IN THE MAKING. The Davao City Government through its City Administrator's Office led by Atty.Jhopee Jeph JC Avancena-Agustin, Davao City Tourism Operations Office led by Lisette Marques and the Committee on Tourism at the Davao City Council led by Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre have committed full support to the first ever citywide and month-long shopping frenzy in the country from March 14 to April 16, 2014 that will be in time for the Araw ng Dabaw celebration on March 16. An initial pitch to our restaurant sector for a citywide food festival and to Sun and Smart and Cebu Pacific as partners ensued. ~ART BONCATO

For the first time in the Philippines another festival in Davao City, the biggest SHOPPING FESTIVAL happened this March 14 to April 16. Dubbed as the Big Davao Fun Sale, the month-long event will gather the retailers in Davao for the longest city-wide sale for any Philippine destination.

The shopping extravaganza will also be a period to showcase the city's natural wonders and products, such as handicrafts, processed food and fruits.
