Elements Camp 2012

7101 Music Nation is an organization dedicated to the development of programs and platforms that will serve to discover and enhance local artistry in music. And this is exactly what DMN believes in as well, which is why we are supporting 7101 Music Nation as they hold this year’s Elements Music Camp.

Already in its 3rd year, it will cater to sixty aspirants, all assisted by twenty mentors in Dumaguete City this November 18-22. Speakers, Lecturers, and Team Facilitators include Joey Ayala, Noel Cabangon, Jim Paredes, Gabby Alipe of Urbandub, Ebe Dancel, Gloc-9, Jungee Marcelo, Mike Villegas, Rey Valera, Raimund Marasigan, Gary Granada, Aia de Leon, Jay Durias, Christina Luna, Debbie Gaite, Clarissa Ocampo, Audie Gemora, Gary Valenciano and many more.



A dream for many artists, the 5 day workshop will cover An Overview of Contemporary Philippine Music History, The Voice: The Science Behind Vocal Production, Basic Music Creation & Melody Writing, The Story in Your Head: Lyric Writing, Arranging Session, What is a Team? What is a Collaboration?, Band Talk, Group Presentations with Panel Critique, Music Publishing, Using the Social Network to Market Your Music, The Music Producer: Making a Demo, Getting Started in the Music Business, Stage Performance, and the Responsibilities of a Singer-Songwriter.

DMN is excited to inform you that they have included Davao in their promo tour. Join us as we welcome Elements this August 3, 2012 at Taboan, Matina Town Square. It will feature Noel Cabangon, Ebe Dancel, Jay Durias, as well as the campers Maan Chua, Jeremy Sarmiento, Lorenzo Vergara, Andrei Elizaga and many more! On August 4, the Elements team will then move to Punch Bowl at Cagayan de Oro and continue their tour there.
This is a tremendous opportunity for the young and aspiring songwriters. Davao Music Nation supports 7101 as they enhance, inspire and believe in the talent of Filipinos.
