The instruction of the City Mayor Rody Duterte, now President of the Republic of the Philippines, that there will be no demolition - no relocation will happened to the 40,000 affected families and the proposed project will only make upgrading and improvement of the present set up of the residents area.

The developer (MEGA HARBOUR) also said that they will build a permanent building in the area of the affected communities, in order to save space, a plan of a so-called CONDO TYPE or APARTMENT UNIT will be built. There will be also fixing of houses, roads and proper drainage canal will be arranged and upgrade the present condition of the area. City Housing will be assigned to identify residents who will be affected of the upgrading. 

They also want to encourage all the affected residents to participate and be involved in the discussions of the 200-hectare reclamation area.

The construction project needs 15,000 skilled and qualified workers, this will be another great opportunity to the residents to work.

No worries Bucana and Agdao peeps,  let's participate and support Rody Duterte last project as Davao City Mayor, these projects benefit all of us Dabawenyos.
